Our Origin Story
How Grant & Teresa StartedWe moved to Napa Valley and promptly fell in love with our own backyard. Napa has nearly 500 wineries. Every single one has its own vibe, its own identity, its own reason to visit — or skip. We kept meeting couples from Spain, Norway, the UK, all over — people who had flown across the world for a Napa weekend and had no idea where to start. We did. So we started filming.The idea was simple: document every winery so that anyone planning a Napa trip could watch our videos first and actually know what they were walking into. No guesswork. No wasted afternoons at the wrong tasting room.Then Iceland HappenedA few episodes in, we tagged a trip to Iceland onto the end of a family wedding on the East Coast. It was fun, chaotic, completely unscripted — and it changed everything. Teresa got food poisoning. Bad.
At some point, Grant found himself standing outside a closed bathroom door, camera rolling, and knocked."Are you okay in there?"
From the other side: "Are you filming this?"
Grant, sheepishly: "Yes. It's content."
Silence.
"So I guess Teresa's feeling sick… I'll go explore on my own."
It wasn't our most glamorous moment. Teresa would like the record to reflect she was not amused. But watching it back, we realized something: that was us. Completely, embarrassingly, authentically us.
